Our Passion

In the Pathway Home, located in Fayetteville, Georgia, each woman will have her heart recaptured by accepting the love of God and embracing an abundant life.  Each woman will be restored by the healing touch of the Holy Spirit to her whole being.

Finding breakthrough and freedom, she will be revitalized in her identity, beauty, value, and purpose.  With  new wholeness shaping her and new life sustaining her, each woman is prepared to pursue her purpose.  After graduating from the Pathway Home, she will have the opportunity to transition back into the fullness of her life at the Gateway Home.

The Gateway Home, is a discipling home for the ladies, and we're so excited about this new dimension of care.  Please pray about how you might partner with us in this exciting, life changing ministry.

A Thrift Testimony to Tell!

by Vanessa Hobbs (Executive Assistant of REAL Change, Inc.)

This little engine was starting to putt.....putt!  God came through with some extra fixtures that a friend of mine needed to get rid of. I was overwhelmed at the church this morning because of the mess in front of us, nicely categorized, but sitting humorously in places scattered across 9,000 square foot of floor.  I chuckle now, a sight to see.  We were unable to move anything without the shelves and fixtures. Bonnie and I kind of moved robotically and aimlessly in hopes that a shimmer of inspiration would filter in.  I started looking into buying used fixtures in Atlanta and felt stuck.  I knew it could take several days to get the fixtures and this is all we have before we open, aughhhh!

I had to run an errand and on my way back to work, I ran into Mrs. Marzella as I stopped off at a random store to buy a marker.  Let me pause to mention that I had the internal conversation "to stop or not to stop" and mille-seconds before I passed the turn, I darted in for the one item--a marker for pricing.  God is the great communicator if we are willing to pull up the antennas.  I had one up, and one down, but one was enough to avoid missing the divine appointment waiting ahead.

Mrs. Marzella was behind the door, literally tugging on the handle so I could not get in.  "This is strange," I thought. "The door stuck? Are they closed? Surely not."  Her reflection, because of the glare, was invisible. So when the door opened, it was a wonderful, unexpected surprise to see a giggling smile and radiant face. Our relationship started over a year ago when she started building her new home with Scott Enterprises.  Our last contact was during Christmas at her daughter's Christmas luncheon that she invited me to attend.  We have not been able to connect over the past few months due to our busy schedules.  She now owns a gift shop, just as suddenly as we now have a thrift store and needs to make room for the new layout.  She asked me, What do you need?"  I thought, well a lot, where to start, and voiced, "What are you offering?" She walked me to the back office and there was a storage closet full of fixtures and merchandise that she wanted to clear out.  I was close to crying!  Okay, both of my antennas are up, as I smirkishly smiled up and exclaimed, "Oh, how He loves us!  Oh, how He loves us!"  God romanced me today!

Thank you Mrs. Marzella for your heart that overflows like a fountain of generosity
